There are many foreign residents living in and around Kameoka. We hope to provide opportunities for foreign residents to interact with Kameoka's citizens. We believe participating in activities together is a good way to make friends. At this event we held a variety of games from around Asia, such as "cup and ball", marbles, top spinning, Chegi (a Korean game) etc. Gold medals were awarded to the winners. We also provided Korean "chijimi", and "namuru" at lunch time.
For our performance corner, we enjoyed watching jugglers, Chango Korean drum performance, singing and dancing. We also enjoyed dances from the Philippine and Inner Mongolia. Bamboo instruments were also introduced and the audience members were able to participate in the performance.
The weather was excellent that day and the landscape around the center was so beautiful in the spring sunshine. Children played freely on the lawn and everyone seemed to enjoy the starting of spring.
